Minor Paint/color Issue (Hood Latch)

Thought I’d bounce this off y’all to see what you think. The inner hood latch ring is rapidly losing it’s finish. This is only a 2021 vehicle, but it also is in a spot a typical person doesn’t notice. First photo is from passenger side, second is from driver side:

Not earth shattering, but annoying enough that I’ll mention it next Jeep Wave oil change.

I would show it sooner than later if your still within your first 12 months of ownership. Usually a dealer will take care of items like this without much trouble in the first year. Especially if they consider it to be cosmetic. I would want them replaced but who knows how your dealer will feel about it. Good luck.
