Okay, so, Friday evening (almost 3 days ago) I changed my oil and noticed the coolant was at the min line within the reservoir. So, I filled it up to the max line and went on with my life. I barely drove it all weekend except to run a few close to home errands. This morning I was checking something and noticed the reservoir was back down to the minimum line. 🤔

There hasn't been any leaks on the ground and when I changed my oil it wasn't frothy. Could this just be from an air pocket or should I be more concerned?

Look underneath the reservoir where the hose connects. My '21 Mojave was loosing coolant. I found pink/white crusty residue at the connection suggesting a failed joint. I ended up putting a new coolant tank and hose on it to finally fix it. The hose by itself did not solve it. Needed both replaced. Have not had an issue since then.

Thanks- I'll take a look at lunch.

Well- I did a pretty thorough look over around the tank, hoses, and radiator seams... There's no build up of anything that I can find.

Hmm. That's my "low hanging fruit" check! Not sure if you have a 4 or 6 cylinder. I have seen posts about head gasket issues in the v6s leading to loss of coolant. Those usually come with trouble codes due to misfires, etc. Have also seen posts about small leaks in the radiators. Not where something obviously leaks out, but vents out.

A pressure test of the system could tell you if there are any leaks you cannot see.

Any coolant smell in the engine bay?

- What engine? (Looks like 3.6L but not 100% sure) and how many miles?

- Checking the reservoir at a consistent interval? As in, always checking in the morning after it’s sat for a while, right after a drive, etc.?

Thanks- I appreciate any insight because I'm at a loss.

I have a 2021 3.6 with 32k miles- sorry I should have mentioned that in the original post.

I'm not smelling any coolant whatsoever as I've been poking around. I suppose a pressure test might be in order then.

Well I haven't been checking the reservoir on a regular. I only noticed it being low three days ago when I was changing the oil. But now I'm certainly checking it regularly! Hahah

This morning (after sitting all night) is when I took that photo and then I made a small drive about 6 minutes away and checked it. It was expanded some to just at the seam line.

My 2021 3.6L has 88,xxx miles and I’ve topped off the reservoir a handful of times. Like you, no obvious leaks, no smell of coolant, seemingly no issues but very, very slow consumption of coolant.

I’m not an expert by any stretch but based on what I’ve seen on here over the last ~5 years is that this isn’t an uncommon issue.

I think if you really do want some peace of mind, you could have it tested and evaluated but I don’t think it’s anything to be all that worried about.

When my I started smelling coolant in the engine compartment and the dealer's pressure test didn't find the leak, I used a UV (blacklight) flashlight to look for coolant residue and found a leaky radiator.

If you open it when cold does the level raises?
Thing get pressurized and look to be low.

Well that's interesting. I went ahead and expedited some Mopar 50/50 coolant from Amazon that should be here in a few hours. I figure I will fill it back up to the max and check it regularly over the next week. If it drops again, then I might get a pressure test just to be safe.

I'm really hoping that maybe there was just some big air bubble that sucked down the top off from a few days ago.

Was there not any any build up or signs outside of it showing in the UV light?

When it was cold and I opened it- nothing changed. The only time it got a little bit higher was when I drove it about 6 minutes and then checked it. At that point it had risen to just about the seam in the tank compared to being a bit below it while cold.
