So glad you mentioned this. I pre-signed up and booked a KOA kabin. Not sure if we will stay in the cabin or not. There are a lot of VRBO's that are cheaper. The Kabin is only $10 to cancel if we cant get a spot for EJS, so... Crossed fingers.
Well right now we’re waiting on the Rubicon transfer case to be delivered and the rear track bar to be modified to clear that rear differential at full flex. Most of the electrical is complete, front and rear fender flares and liners installed, and air compressor has been installed. I’m very glad I chose this shop, their work is excellent!
All of the wiring and air lines were routed through the interior so they don’t get damaged off-road. Transfer case was installed and measurements taken for drive shafts given to Tom Woods and drive shafts delivered overnight from Utah. They tested the flex to insure nothing was rubbing and the programmed the Tazer JL mini. They plan to extensively test everything on Monday before delivery.
Picked it up this afternoon. This thing is a beast! First impressions are the suspension is much smoother than stock but the turning radius is increased with the larger/ wider 72.5” axles. The KM3’s are quiet and ride great. Acceleration with the 5.38’s maybe close to stock even with all the added weight. I’ll try to take better pictures in the next few days.
