Mic mounting with no holes

I didn't want to drill any holes, so I figured out how to make a very simple magnetic mount for my mic. I dropped a stack of 4 very small magnets into the grab bar mounting socket bolt head and glued a slightly larger magnet on the back of the mic.

how's it do off road on wash boards ? I went with Bulletpoint mounting, no holes, position easily where you want it

I keep my HAM and iPad on a heavy duty RAMMount pillar, using a radio/mic plate.

This way I can swing it all out of the way when I need to.
