Considering purchasing the Metalcloak reinforcement brackets as insurance for the steel rear bumper flimsiness issue, deflecting into the body of the JL. I'd rather not have to chuck the factory steel bumper, if I don't have to, and like the idea of upgrading the capabilities of the rig while maintaining a semi stock look.
That being said, have you had a lot of feedback for this reinforcement yet? Has anyone used it, and says it fixes all, or are you finding people get the upgrade bracket, the deflection still occurs to a certain extent, so they just go ahead and upgrade to the full bumper?
Are their any clearance limitations, for those with 392s, or your muffler skid? Ive got your skid system, just no muffler skid yet.
Thanks in advance for any feedback. I greatly appreciate it!
