Metalcloak or Warn Winch Plate?

Maximus3 is what I went with and super stout and super easy install..made in the USA...

I don't know much about Maximus3 stuff. It is my understanding MetalCloak products are high quality. I only have their bumpstops on my Jeep right now, so I do not have first hand experience. I read somewhere that the Warn plate required cutting a plate of some sort, and I want to stay away from that. MetalCloaks is also $75 cheaper, but I want to be sure everything lines up and the install is simple. All three have the same thickness of steel, but I believe the Warn comes with a license plate bracket. Thanks for the info. I only have a day to decide with the current sales

What size fairlead is best for this? I am looking at the Warn Epic and it shows 1" or 1.5".

Probably just going to get the black Warn hook as well. I am wondering if there is a way to get it to lay flat against the fairlead.

+1 for Maximum plate, I have one. It is solid, but the paint / eCoat whatever it is scratches easy if you fumble with your tools and drop a few on it while installing
