asking for a friend in florida - what would you think is the maximum windspeed wrangler would be drivable ( even at 25 mph) without getting airborne or toppled?

Taking the top off, doors off and lowering the windshield would lower COG and reduce the surface area the wind can push against...

This news clip gives an oversimplified equation for it, and using a so called "average" car says the car can be moved by a 90mph wind.

You could use updated numbers for the Wrangler to get a SWAG answer if you were so inclined.

I'm not gonna do it.

I'll let you know. My brother is a deputy sheriff down in the Gainesville area. He has a JL and drives it when he's not in his unmarked car. Talked to him a few moments ago and they are getting hammered with wind/rain.
