My ‘24 JLRX 2 door came with 33” KO2 tires. My plan is to replace them with 35“ tires when the originals can’t do the job off-road anymore due to wear (12k on them now [doing 5 tire rotations] thinking they’ll be effective for another 20k at least). Given that not all 35” tires are not the same size in actuality, and that 4D JLURX’s come with 35” KO2 tires, I’m wondering if I’ll need a new spare bracket when the time comes. I want to go with MT’s of some sort as well. Not interested in spare tire delete options.
Anyone have insight, thoughts, figures, advice? TIA

Unfortunately it’s inconsistent, some report 35’s do fit with steel bumpers, more with plastic ones, mine did not with steel. The Teraflex aluminum relocation brackets (~$150) worked well until I got 8 1/2” -1mm wheels and had to get an adjustable Alpha to eliminate camera/sensor issues. Consider possible future wheels offset if it doesn’t fit …. 4dr, but shouldn’t be different results.
@Bobby Hank - edit MT’s are typically heavier, also a consideration. Factory recommends 85 lbs, I think Teraflex says 100 lbs for the Alpha before reinforcement is needed.

Thanks. I have the steel bumpers. There is just a hair under an inch of space with the 33” mounted. The brackets are not cost prohibitive… I’ll probably be best off doing it anyway, since one the 7yr/100k mi warranty I bought her expires I plan to lift a bit and go to 37” tires on beadlocks.

Then you will be wasting money getting the brackets like I did. Heavy beadlocks, heavy 37 MT’s will most likely be well over 100 lbs and require reinforcement, plus the wheels will be wider and most likely not be 44mm offset. Get the $375 adjustable Alpha, that it’s reinforcement can be added to later if, and likely with your plans, needed.
