Maps Screen too bright

2024 Jeep Wrangler 2 Dr. Willy's - When I use google maps (connected to my Android device) the screen is SUPER bright. That is OK during the day but at night it is truly blinding, especially if I have to look to the right to check for oncoming traffic. Is there a way to dim the Uconnect screen when it is showing the map?

Well, I don’t have the new uconnect 12 inch screen, but my 8.4 inch screen is dimmable using the roller type switch on the dash located on the right side of the headlight switch.

Does your google maps switch into dark mode at night? If not, there is a setting on your phone for that.

I have the 12 inch screen and it works. My issue is how dark it gets when I use windshield wipers during the day.

Mine did the same thing. Use the roller type switch BUT turn it up all the way then back it off 1 click. This will allow for the day/night time modes to work.

It is because your headlights r on at that time
