I get under the jeep and see the front corner of my engine oil pan bolts have oil on them. Not enough to cause drops on my driveway but very wet. I can see oil seepage coming from somewhere higher above the oil pan coming from the engine area.
ok trip to dealer for investigation and they find
1: Oil pan gasket- AFTER INEPCTION FOUND VEHICLE UPPER OIL PAN TO BE LEAKING AND NEEDS RESEALING.
2: Oil Separator: VERIFIED CUSTOMER CONCERN AND FOUND VEHICLE OIL SEPARATOR TO BE LEAKING OIL FROM DOWN SIDE OF ENGINE AND NEEDS REPLACING
3 TRANS : Automatic Transmission Concern [CUSTOMER STATES VEHICLE HAS SLIGHT HESITATATION TO ACCELERATE WHEN COLD] (W) Automatic Transmission Concern —-
Turbo(s) Rebuild/Replace: AFTER INSPETION FOUND VEHICLE TUBRO TO HAVE EXCESSIVE PLAY ON TURBINE CUASING VEHICLE ACCLERATION TO LAG
Jeep was running good, no noise, no smell of oil, and after 30 feet of forward movement in the morning everything was up to power. I figured it was just cold trans oil temp.
In another couple months I would be out of the standard manufacturer warranty. Friday I will ask how much repairs would have been out of warranty.
Make time and look things over.
