Made the switch today

So earlier today I made the switch from JL to JT. Dont worry, the JL is staying in the family because I gave it to my wife. I'll be here to post photos of her build on what she wants to do with the JL while I'll be posting my JT on the Gladiator forum. The JL is a 2018 unlimited rubicon.

Glad the JL is staying in the family. Just curious, why you pulled the trigger on the JT? Also, how does it drive compared to the JL (never got to be in JT).

why the JT?

White JT Mojave with the light grey leather interior is the sex. The orange accents, orange front and rear tow hooks and the suspension that includes fox shocks would make anyone a believer.

The JT is incredible from the factory and the drive is a bit smoother than the JL.

Wife and I plan to do some overlanding with the kids. The jt bed has the room we need for all the stuff while also carrying the tent for the kids and the jl can carry some stuff and a tent for us.

Nice. While some people give the JT flack, I think it's nice to have the option if you need the extra space. I'm not impressed with the Ranger or Colorado and I couldn't get comfortable when I sat in a Tacoma at a car show (felt like I was sitting on the floor with my feet straight out in front of me).

I love my JL, but could see how the long wheelbase could make the ride better in certain situations (probably less likely to get blown around by strong side winds too)
