Has this forum been taken over by reditor fanatics? The banning of @2nd392 is just ridiculous.

We know this forum is owned by a Canadian firm, but most users are from the US, used with freedom of expression.

Even Facebook is not as draconian.

I'm not sure what "used with freedom of expression" means, but hopefully you don't think that the First Amendment applies here.

No professor, I'm aware that 1A doesn't apply to private companies. Nonetheless, freedom of expression and speech is sacrosanct and a corner stone of American fabric.

Anything else? If you enjoy censorship, be my guest. That's your freedom of choice.

However, even better, use the "hide" under my profile to censure my posts yourself. Take ownership of your own action, don't expect or request admins to ban someone you disagree with.

I was gone for the weekend camping near Mt St Helens, then came back to @2nd 392 being banned? WTF happened?

Several threads got polluted with political crap. Several participants on both sides got the ban hammer.

I joined in a couple threads early but quickly bowed out once the stupid back-and-forth crap settled in.

I think you are mistaking freedom of speech with a guaranteed audience.

You're still free to express yourself. Just do it somewhere else so this forum can stay focused on Jeeps.
