Lost Keys

I lost my friggin keys this morning because I set them and my coffee on my fender while I was loading gear this morning and then drove to work. And yes, I'm an idiot for having my spare fob in my backpack.

Ughh.....now I can hope, everyday, that it's still in the parking lot whenever I come out of ANYWHERE since someone may have it.

Doesn't the dashboard usually yell at you about key not being in vehicle?

Edit: OH I get it now, you had your spare fob with you in your backpack in your Jeep, so it didn't care that your primary key wasn't in there.

Well that sucks. If it was on your fender then there's a good chance it landed within a block of wherever you started driving.

Yeah..once I realized what had happened I went home, checked the driveway and drove slowly for about a mile looking on the road and shoulder.
