I can get a great deal on a a set of 5 of these https://milestartires.com/light-trucks/patagonia-xt/
In 37x12.5r17, I am looking to replace my ko2’s. Never run Milestars before but everything I’ve read is a mix bag. Some love em some hate em and it’s hard to tell out of those who love them if they are just saying that because they’re sponsored. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. And Yes I’ve read all existing threads containing Patagonia x/t in them. Thanks in advance

You couldn't pay me to run pats. Not out west anyway. They have a hard time hooking up on many types of terrain.

My wife loves her pats. They hook up on any terrain, especially here out west. She runs MT though not XT.

Thank you, only interested in the X/T as in trying to keep the 3peak rating for any future purchases

I haven’t heard of any issues with them around here. I’ve considered them for 38s or 40s but haven’t made it past 37s yet.

I looked into those, heard nothing but great reviews. Only bummer is they don’t offer the d rating anymore only e in 37x12.5r17

Unfortunately, I have little more to offer on pats than also hearing the mixed bag. I've ran cheap Iron Man tires - they sucked at everything and started cupping fast.
I'm running Maxxis MTs right now, but really miss the Mickey Thompson ATs. They worked great on and offroad. and wore excellently.

Mickey Thompson Baja Boss a/t are one of the top choices for sure. Never heard a bad thing about them. Only bummer imo is the 80lb per tire. Right now I’ve got d rated ko2 37’s and their I think a little over 70 lbs.
Granted I never bought a Jeep for mpg, but I don’t want to have too much weight on each corner of I can help it. I’ve got the diesel JLUR now with complete with metal cloak baller ball joints and factory steel knuckles so I’m not too worried about those components wearing out to fast. Also running Method 703’s which are around 28lbs each. When it comes to tires I always find the best deals I can online whether through a sale or coupon code then have my local @Discounttire match the price.

Currently I’ve got a price match quote for the Pat x/t 37’s, using the Northridge sale code right now puts them at $284 per tire. I should’ve had them match the Baja Boss a/t for $347 per and The Maxxis Razr AT for $286 per. I think of their still on sale come Monday I’ll have them put together a quote for me. That way I’ve got a month to decide 🥴

Sounds like worst case scenario, you get new tires for under $1200 and buy yourself time to save for whatever you want to replace them with should they not meet your needs.

After buying tires for almost 50 years, I've concluded you get what you pay for. I'm a slow learner.

Buy once, Cry once… hopefully hahaha
I couldn’t agree more, last place I want to skimp is on tires. And I’m not actually unhappy with the ko2 I just hate that they look like 35’s on the Jeep. The one thing about the ko2 and The Razr AT is the starting tread depth is 15/32nds so that’s a variable to consider as well
