Two system behaviours are proving annoying and I'm hoping there are means to address them.
  1. You are not returned to app that was active prior to placing or receiving phone calls. For example, if you have the nav screen active and receive a call, the phone screen comes up and you are left there after the call. You have to work your way back to the nav app. Every other infotainment system I'm familiar with automatically returns to the app that was active prior to the call.
  2. Every time I place a call, I get the voice message telling me I can end it by pressing the phone disconnect button on the steering wheel. Knew that before I ever used it so that infinite repetition is a tad annoying.
I'm hoping there are system settings that I have yet to find that can address these two irritants. Anyone have any advice?

FWIW it does the same on the non-alpine model. I agree. I do find it fun to hear her say steering wheel tho. You can tell the words are stitched together, so it covers some of the minor pain. :)

I don't have my Wrangler, yet, but a quick scan of the user manual (what else can I do with no Jeep?!) shows:

Try "Brief" length, maybe?

Thanks for that. That took care of her reminding that you can hang up when done. Still have the phone crap stuck on the screen after the phone call is complete.

That worked like a charm. Just left with the phone page issue.
Cool. I had a feeling that would work. My GM has the same sort of setting.
