LOD Destroyer full width bumper question

I am going to order a LOD destroyer full width bumper, with the main reason being I will be towing it behind an RV. I am curious what the bull bar's main purpose is. Is it primarily for when you have a winch? If I am going to put a winch on it, should I put the bull bar? Can you have a winch and not a bull bar?

Like I said, I am buying the LOD because it is what I want to hook up my RV to, so I am set on the LOD, but not sure if i need or want a bull bar. Thanks

i think it’s mainly to protect the front of the Jeep. Good place to mount lighting also.

Think if you were to hit a deer, or another animal while driving one night. The bull bar will hopefully keep the animal from flying up into your windshield causing more damage and potentially danger for you. Rather, it will push the animal down under the vehicle instead of flying towards you.

Thanks for your input, I will probably get the bull bar. It does look better anyway.
