Nittos are some of the most over weight tires in any load rating. Most 37x12.50s are in the 60-75lb weight, nittos are all 80+lbs. I think the mud grappler is 85lbs. That's a heavy tire that doesn't seem to perform or wear any better than tires weighing significantly less. At least if they were load range F you could justify the weight from 10-12ply sidewalls that are nearly bulletproof.
There isn't a light truck tire out there that has more than 4 plys in the sidewall.

Thanks for catching my typo, 10-12 ply tires (E+F rated) with 3-4 ply sidewalls, but the point remains they can easily support a Jeep at freeway speeds in the high teens as far as psi.

I'm running the Toyo AT3 in 295/65-20 which measures out to 35.1 x 11.75 and is E rated, I keep them around 29psi. I've been very happy with them overall but have been considering moving down to 17" wheels when I'm ready for my 37's as I wouldn't be opposed to a softer ride.

Mine rides pretty firm as it is, but considering the Jeep had E-rated 285/70-17s on it when I got it, I don't have a good idea of how much difference it'll make. I would love to swap someone's C or D rated 35's on it and take it for a drive to compare but I don't know anyone local with that setup.

so I bought my 2021 jlu and it had 285/70r/17 bfg k02 c rated
replaced with k03 315/70r/17 F rated and returned them. way too stiff even at 32lbs
almost no flex at 20lbs off road. handled pretty bad and caused bump steer
try to stay close to c range much more comfortable and safer. c range each tire can support max of 2500 lbs. so plenty of support for a jeeps gvwr of 5100 lbs. plus those F rated tires weigh an extra 5lbs a piece.
