I had the stinger unit in my Jeep JL I upgraded or so I thought I upgraded to the Linkswell gen 5 radio.
I'm having issues with the GPS not working they know it's a known issue but still haven't received a fix and it's been two or three weeks and haven't heard anything I was wondering if anybody else has this head unit or this issue or any other issues let's post them here because I like this radio because of the screen and the sound quality.

Carlos,
I was looking into a Linkswell G5 for my 2014 GMC. You probably know Linkswell has their office in Riverside. I spoke with them about availability recently. I also spoke to Walt at ADC Mobil. Great guy and very helpful. I recommend you call him.

I have a 2020 Jeep Jl and I’m really considering the gen5. Some one please reply to the likes and dislikes question. I’ve been trying to find any reviews I can read pertaining to the gen5. I so want to pull the trigger and get one but I’m not sure what all I’ll be gaining and losing.

Here's a thread where @toneloc2 speaks about his install of the gen 5.

Thanks for the replies but it's already installed and the issues I'm having have been mostly resolved with the last update. GPS now works but in my opinion I would not buy this unit and I'll tell you why it's hella slow in my opinion loading up is slow and running is slow you try to run like a app like On-X for your Jeep and good luck with that it doesn't have a way to put a SIM card in it so you can have internet directly to it You've got to constantly hotspot it. It looks nice and people are impressed with the size and the appearance but it has a very slow processor and for what you're paying it's not worth it and my advice is not to buy it. I could have returned it but I decided to keep it because of the sound quality and that's it if I had to do it all over again I would have just kept the stinger.
Also little things like the dimmer on the screen not working properly, not being able to change the steering wheel controls and I was told that it was because they didn't want to make it complicated but for this price I should have that option too many negatives and not enough positives keep your money buy something else.
And I've talked to Walt many times and yeah he is very helpful and informative but he just sells them he is not the person making them.
