If I am connecting lights to my aux switch would I eliminate the relay?
I am assuming the aux switches have builtin relays?

Thanks

Check the max amp draw of what you're connecting and check it against the amp ratings of the Aux switches in the link @MBrady78 provided.

If it's below the amp rating of the Aux switch (with some headroom) you do not need a relay.
If it's very close to or above the amp rating of the Aux switch you do need a relay and an in-line fuse slightly above the max amp draw of what you're connecting.

Did your harness also come with a fuse line that runs to a positive terminal? why would you need that when hooking up to the jeep aux switch terminal?

different aux switches have different ratings so check that out. I think any will run lights, maybe not a huge light bar though.

I would run a relay unless they are drawing very few amps. When you see how small those wires are you will see why. If I remember correctly 1 & 2 are suppose to be 40A, I would not run anything less than 10ga for 40A in a 12V system. But if you look at those wires they look more like 14ga to me.
