What do you think about this placement of 2 cubes and a 10” combo. I used the existing winch holes for now because no plan for a winch in the immediate future.

Looks good. I like it.

This would not work for me due to my trail cam view would be blocked.

Enjoy your black Oak LEDs

I’ve ran Black Oak products (4 cubes and 20in double) on my TJ for about 8 years now when I made the switch from the old KC halogen Daylighters. I’ve not once have I had any issues with any of the Black Oak LEDs, and have no plans of swapping them out. I did switch to BDs on the JLURD,

Black Oak’s customer service is over the top. Last year I had to replace 2 of the cube lenses. I sent the company pics and no questions asked, they had replacements at my door the next day.

Cheers

Thanks, I considered BDs but couldn’t get past the price, the Black Oaks seem to be a very high quality
2 questions: Did you have to drill holes for the outer cube light mounting? Why not mount one or the other to the bar?
I did have to drill 1 hole each side for the cubes. The Icon bumper doesn’t have any bar attachments and they also kind of push the OEM fogs to the center, so I wanted some more light to the outside.
I was thinking if I ever get a winch, I would move the 10” bar up to the bumper bar with some of those round clamps they make. Everything now sits low enough where there isn’t any airflow obstructions.
