For those of us older less mechanical Jeep owners, where do people have work done...want have a lift kit
installed and then go from there. Stock Sahara isn't cutting it for me. Had it for a year...ready to mod it out.

Thanks all.

You can buy all kinds of fancy lifts, but for the money, the Rancho kit linked click here is a great kit for around $700 dollars. It rides great and flexes great. I have wheeled everything from the Rubicon trail, mountain passes in Colorado, Moab Utah, and the sand dunes of Michigan with this kit.

It is an easy install. You can do it in your driveway in about 4 hours. You need a set of Jack Stand, a jack, and basic tool. 10mm, 13 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 18mm, 19 mm, 21 mm and a 22mm sockets and wrenches. And a torque wrench. The instructions are very good and they are easy to follow.

You can always take it in of course, but a lift really is a simple install.
