I'm with Ron. Honestly, I don't think anyone who knows tires believes the size on the sidewall should be taken literally and as an absolute, because it just doesn't work that way. There are fairly wide variances between manufacturers, and ride height almost never equals the stated size. I'd love someone to show me a major brand 35x12.5x 17 that measures a true 35", especially when mounted, and I'll be surprised.
They might be fine, but why? Tires are the one thing in contact with the road. I just don't know enough about those to be confident in them. If my Jeep was an off-road only machine, then maybe. I'd have to talk to some actual owners and people with experience with them before I'd consider them.Anyone have some experience with treadwright? I had them on a jeep quite a few years ago, but only drove for ~500 miles before selling the jeep.
