Whats the chatter Its been available for the last four years. All you need to do is order it.
More Chatter The V8 won’t fit in the wrangler. The 392 is a one year only model. They will never discontinue the Diesel, Wrangler is going to IFS. The 2 door is discontinued, 0w-20 will kill your motor. And last but not least the I6 will never fit in the JL. Lots of chatter over the years. Time will tell.

Funny thing about chatter in this case. See there is this thing called a ruler or tape measure and they don't lie. Stelly has posted the dimensions of the Hurricane and its a MONSTER!
The whole reason the manufacturers went to the V's and W engines is they are more compact, bigger (CI) more powerful in a smaller package.

Keep that tape measure handy, When the I6 arrives in the JL you can explain how. There were plenty of posters that had tape measures that said the hemi V8 would never fit in the JL. They had all the measurements to back it up until 2021 of course.

And the same incentive applies….. Bronco…. with 418 hp, 440 lb ft available . The 4xe soon the only competition and many don’t want a hybrid. Spend enough to make it fit now, or wait and design the JM for it. Numbers crunching and sales projections likely ongoing.

...the IL6 Hurricane will come in a special edition with 20" wheels, lowered, and have angry eyes.
Given the continued urbanization of the Wrangler aesthetic, paired with Stellantis's on-the-record comments about wanting the model to occupy an upmarket niche, it's not as easy to dismiss the bolded garishness as we might wish. ?
