LED upgrade with halo question

I ordered my jl, so now I am in the waiting stage. I downloaded the manual just so that I could read it before I even see my jeep. One thing I did not see, was how do the halo's turn on. Do they just come on with the parking and headlights, or is there a seperate switch? Just curios, thanks

Not absolutely positive but think halo won’t turn on until you put Jeep in gear. So when you get it, you will need to have someone check for you.

There is no separate switch nor user-configurable setting to control the halo lights. The halo lights turn on when the vehicle is set to RUN (from the START/STOP ignition button) or when the headlights are turned on.

The only time unbroken halo lights are off is when the vehicle is not set to RUN (but instead set to OFF or ACC at the START/STOP ignition button status) and the headlights are off.

At night, at long restaurant drive-through lines, I oftentimes turn off my headlights, so that the people in front or me can admire and fully appreciate the Wrangler halos:

My mistake. I must be thinking of DRLs on flares. Jeepney corrected that ??
