LED tail light ring out

I see many posts here about this happening but never see an end result or what was done to fix it? Anyway, my driver side running light randomly went out on my tail light. They are the stock tail lights and I have a 2022 rubicon. Anyone have this happen to them? And what was done to fix it? Seems to be an electrical issue but must be coming from the factory because I see same situation with many people online. Thanks for any help or info you have!

Most likely the tail light will have to be replaced. Hopefully you're still under 36k miles so warranty will pick up the tab.

I am! Got 16000 hopefully that fixes it tho. An electrical problem can be a real pain in the arse

Old thread but I just got a used 22 and my driver side tail light is out. The rest work. I checked and it is getting power to the light. Since I'm out of warranty anyone know where I can get one at a good price. Seems most want $640 or more. Mine has the BSM as well, which adds to the price it seems. The dealer here want's $1,023. Part number is 68474045AD

Could always move over to the ORACLE Lighting JL Flush Tail Lights. For the pair they will be considerably less expensive than the OEM replacement. They feature a form fitting that protrudes significantly less than OEM. The reverse lights are extremely bright. The BSM sensor can be swapped over to the Flush Tail Lights (if equipped). Available in Red or Tinted Lenses.

$620 is the best price I see via retailers. If there is nothing wrong with the BSM module then you can buy the light fixture minus the BSM module and swap yours over to save a few bucks.
