is there any economical way of measuring or calculating what kind of Amp draw a particular light bar would create?
I have seen that watts divided by volts is amps, but I'm wondering if things are all mucked up with my calculations...
I just picked this light bar from a chinese site as an example:
light bar example

if the formula is correct, then a 32 inch light bar (that they claim is 405 watts) would draw 33 amps at 12V?
does this seem right?

or, could the "manufacturer" be fudging on the wattage of the light?

just trying to estimate the amp draw of various lights to make sure I hook it up to the correct AUX switch.. if 1 and 2 are 40 amps, then at 12V, I'm limited to about 480W (I forget what the safety margin is; 5 or 10%?)
