Leaking Transmission 3400 miles

Looks like a textbook gasket leak. Did you check the torque on the bolts first? It may be a simple fix.

Yes I checked all the pan bolts and they were all tight... couldn’t even tight the hem a bit more

So sorry! I feel your pain. I had a huge transmission fluid leak within the first 3 days of ownership. I ended up having to get towed to the dealership - the tow driver couldn’t even get it to shift into reverse when he tried to get it up onto the flatbread.

What was the issue, what have they done to fix it?

Here’s a picture of my driveway... It been leaking for a while... I noticed it yesterday when I moved our vehicle to wash them...

That is what I keep thinking but then I think that a lot of people come to forums like this and post reviews on Amazon etc. to complain or express frustration or find help with some sort of problem. From what I have read Jeep has sold a very large number of JLs this year and comparing that with the number of complaints makes the complaints seem like a small number. Reading that some with 19s are having the same or similar problems to those with 18s does not make me feel any better though. I still keep going back and forth.

Yeah, I have been researching Tacomas as well and even though Toyota is known for their reliability, they had plenty of issues with 3rd gen Tacomas that came out in 2016. Some are just now getting sorted with 2019 models. First couple of years with any redesign seem to bring about various issues...

And then I watch this and get annoyed with Jeep again, lol

Although I will not have it for the weekend, I got an update, they said that it was a transfer case seal... It’s suppose to be ready on Monday.

***I did not post my situation to express frustration or to complain about my Jeep... I loved my JKU Sahara, but I love even more my JLU Rubicon... I do not regret my purchase.

Since the forum has a large community, and since I did not know the root cause of my issue, I posted it here to seek others to know if they had the same problem as mine. ***
