Keyline Dual battery kit

Have any of you used something like this instead of the Genesis system? It sounds like you could mount the additional battery near in the back (or for us JT, under the bed). Would doing this in effect accomplish the same thing (more capacity, more reliable battery set up) as Genesis at 1/4 the cost?
