You guys buying at MSRP must have some really friendly dealers. After a search the best I got was 25K over MSRP. And that was from the dealer I bought my JL from.

I hope for everyone’s sake on this thread that the 392 transition from orders to deliveries is less of a 3-4 month disaster as the 3.0 was for most. We ended up gathering around the forum fire like a bunch of abused spouses to the tune of 5 or 6000 posts.

Keep an eye out for the EPA/CARB numbers that go on the monroney. They were part of the 3.0 holdup. FCA quoted Q4 deliveries for the 3.0 and delivered precisely one unit in Q4 2019...on Dec 31st!

The dealer I have bought 3 Jeeps from in the past, gets 1 allocation (says he had to agree to take 10 2020 Dodge Journeys) to get the allocation, and he is keeping it for himself (don’t blame him) no other dealers in my area are getting an allocation. I had considered the new Broncos as well (had a new ‘77 and a new ‘80 in the past) but those are now delayed till summer, and truthfully, since I have had 10 Jeeps (from CJs to my current JK) I definitely lean toward the Jeep. My first Jeeps were CJs with 304 V8 engines and looked forward to making my last Jeep a V8, but looks like that wont happen soon. Congrats to all who were able to order a Jeep 392. Maybe I will join the 392 club in the future. Jeep On!

Had to laugh. In the mid-80s I was looking for a new Mazda RX7 GSL SE. Just out, great reviews, hard to come by. It was the "it" car at the time. Seems that their GSL SE allocation was based on new Mazda pickup sales. Found one in Omaha (I was in Denver) - rural(ish) dealer said he sold a boatload of pickups. [not sure how - the pickups sucked]

Good to see that, 35 years later, some things stay the same.

I was at the Shaver Jeep in thousand oaks CA, they have order all their allocated, but they said they would order one for me with a $15k above MSRP.. I said call me when your ready to sell one at MSRP.. if you guys hear of a dealer selling at MSRP, let me know and I will place an order. I know we dont know MSRP $ .. I am assuming ~60k, up from my 2018 JLRU ~55k.. (hopefully).. One interesting conversation, was the sales mgr said they are limiting 393 to 10k units...
