Just bought a 392

Found a 29k mile mint condition 2021 with the extreme recon package near me. Traded a 2021 Lexus lx570 which may be stupid but I’ll find out. Quick question. Did the 21’s not have the button to make the exhaust quieter? I don’t see one guess my neighbors will have to wake up earlier when I go to work.

Yep- they have the exhaust button, it kinda looks like 2 exhaust tips, in my GC or I’d take a pic. Good find, less than 900 21 XR’s were made.

I looked all over and didn’t see that button but now I see it! I did get lucky I guess. This thing looks new even the underside which is unusual for here in Iowa for a 4 year old vehicle. Been awhile since I had a wrangler. Have to learn all the cool things about this one.

Have to learn all the cool things about this one.

When stopped, push the off-road + button, step on the brake, step on the accelerator and hold it at 1500 rpm, release the brake and stomp the accelerator at the same time = launch control. Have fun!

Keep in mind that the default for the exhaust valve is open, ie noisey. After the engine starts and produces vacuum, the exhaust can get quieter. But every time it starts, it starts with a delightful bark. Although your neighbors might not find it delightful!
