Haven't had a place to share the progress of my 2019 2 door sport so here we go.

I traded in my 2023 maverick for this 2019 Wrangler just about 2 months ago now and I am loving every minute of it. So many more features, more capability and much more fun having a stick again. The maverick was cool but ended up not being for me.

So far I have done a few things as followed.
- Rubicon lift
- 8500lb winch
- Rubicon 392 wheels and 33s
- Deezee roof rack
- custom windshield light bar
- ditch and spot lights
- custom jurassic park graphics
- diy tailgate table

I've got a small list of things I want to do to really finish it off but I'm just waiting to find a cheap grill to modify to retrofit some 7x6 headlights to throw back to the YJ. quadratec's YJL is definitely an inspiration for that. front and rear bumpers will get getting changed sooner rather than later, already got some trail damage on the rear and want a bumper mounted spare for more rear mounting ability. also gearing will need to be changed im thinking into the future 4.56 for some 35s

Thanks, I've wanted to do this to a yj but didn't want to wrench on it every weekend and more likely to run into trouble wheeling. Next best thing

how bad was prepping and painting the windshield frame in red?

I’d love to have the “top half” of my Jeep painted black, and always thoight getting a custom vynil job would be super expensive if done professional and a terrible idea if I tried to to DIY it…

your results make me think painting could be the way to go

I went the budget temporary route with some 'super wrap' brand plastidip, i could have painted it at work but wasn't sure how commited I would be with it. as for vinyl, I haven't worked with it personally but it's a challenge I would like to tackle one of these days

Haven't done much and just been enjoying wheeling but now I've decided to commit to retrofitting some 7x6 headlights, this is just the start so far.

Some hardbody Nissan headlight mounts put the light at the perfect high using the bottom bolt so I only need to make adjustments to 2 top bolt holes and it will easily be reversible. Time to start now!

That's it for today, tomorrow I will be cutting up the grill and hoping I have enough scraps around for some plastic welding. Lights are mounted after some adjustments and wired

getting my doors and windshield frame hopefully covered under warranty so i had to say goodbye to the Jurassic park set up. kind of sad but also kind of liking the monochrome colours. Tomorrow I am picking up a takeoff Rubicon hood which ill need to paint, once it gets nice in the spring ill do that and colour match the top while i have paint mixed

its been a while but figured id give an update of what gone on with in the past several months!
picked up some xtreme recon wheels, tires, flares and axles! gained some 35s, 4.56 gears and factory lockers all from the same guy and I feel I got a great price relative to what I see them posted here for. I also got a set of the hd brakes with the axles which I have yet to install, the stock sport brakes I have now still preform well and only have 7k km on them so they're like new

I've been rocking the axles for about 3 months now and I couldn't be happier with this thing. but one thing led to another and I found a great sale on Rubicon express parts, too good I couldn't pass up.

got everything installed yesterday and today, only thing I didn't replace where the front uppers, mostly because I couldn't get them on sale me being me unable to pass up a good deal I found a pair of half doors locally for only $1k. which I painted yesterday as well. I cant wait for top off weather now!
