Even though I haven't had much time to use the jeeps, I've made a change--to please my wife/.me--


Here's what I had-

With 6-spd-

With the 8-spd auto, now EVERYBODY'S HAPPY-

you should have been able to work that side vent blackout more towards the plastic vent. So it won't have the space of paint btwn the vent and the blackout.

I speak from experience when I say “Happy wife, happy life”.
Enjoy the new 4 door. Although...what color is that? Looks like Dune from the JK. Maybe it’s just my iPad that makes it look washed out and it’s really HellaYella. Either way...enjoy.

What color is that? Maybe it's just the lighting, doesn't look like Hella Yella or even Nacho.

Well Roky, I'll still use it 90% of the time off-road, but now my wife is comfortable/happy enough to go with me--

The SAHARA is so much more driveable on the freeway, like my .08 JKUR, so I'll be driving "SARAH" TO California in April--and get some breakin miles on her-

When I ordered the JLR in Sept-18, I demanded the yellow, but--NONE WERE AVAILABLE, so I just ordered the "FIRECRACKER RED" and both the RED and YELLOW paint jobs are pretty well flawless-

I would have preferred the "MANUAL" shifting tabs, on the steering wheel, like my RAM, but I'll get used to the gear shift lever "TAP"-

Yo Grady2hig--I know I could have butted the vent decal right against the vent, but I prefer the obvious gap of yellow--

I'm doing a lotta traveling this summer, but starting in AUGUST, I've gotta getta trailer hitch, so that I can tow my off-road trailer and plan on camping starting SEPT.

The wheels are pretty much like my RAMS and I'll get some 18" ProComps and HANKOOK DYNAPROS, but I'll stick to 33" --ie (LT295/75X18)-

As old as I am, I'm easing up on the "ROCK CRAWLING" TRIPS and will be a little more "GRANDPARENTISH"=

You know I busted my ass to do this probably reapplied mine 15 times and when I step away from the Jeep the reflection on the glossy black grill looks white anyway. Maybe it's different on the other colors.. Feels like I totally wasted my time.

(This is only a dig on how much time I spent perfecting it, I love the look!)

How does 295/70R18 equate to 33s?

Math says 35.4”

I tried to do mine...never could get it right...I just ended up throwing them away.
