JL/JT under-seat bracket availability?

Posting on this side for greater visibility...before I go prototyping something to fit my needs, is there a bracket that fits under the front seats for a dual band radio head unit or something similar? I know JL Audio makes one for like $170 that may or may not work but other than a 2-piece unit (that definitely won't work for me) for the ARB compressor, I can't seem to find any.

Fabbing a simple frame using the seat mounts would be quite easy. A bracket for the front and rear that resembles the form in the "highly engineered" brace pictured below, with a cross member connecting the front and rear braces would accomplish exactly what you're looking for. Adapt the brace based on the height you need, and you're all set.

Lowe's sells raw metal bars that could be bent and formed as you'd need them. And it'd be pretty inexpensive. Good luck!

Yeah I know and it kills me I have to buy something... I'm in an apartment for now because we don't plan on staying where we are and there's just no place for me to do any work like that. Ended up ordering the ARB compressor bracket this morning.
