I'm near Richardson, but i went with Superior Dodge in Conway, AR. They are doing 6% under invoice with an affiliate code. I wasn't able to find anyone in the metroplex that would go under 1%.

Blackman did they have any other hidden fees like a high documentation fee and what was the process buying the jeep out of town. I appreciate the help.

So far it's been really easy. I ordered around 1/23 and we're expecting delivery around early to mid March. I just sent the dealer and email about ehat what i wanted. We went back ans forth to make sure she was clear on everything and it was done in about 4 emails.

I'm attaching the build sheet with thr pricing on it so you can see their crazy math. They start you at invoice, then subtract holdback and an extra $1000, and then take out the affilaite rewards if you qualify. The $130 added on is their only fee besides tt&l.

Since i haven't taken delivery yet, i don't know if I'll need to have a temporary Arkansas registration for the day and take it to the DMV in Texas to register it here on my own or not, but everything up to now has been easy.

The dealership has been mentioned alot in these threads too if you want mpre references, and that is how i originally found them.

I believe sales tax is paid to the dmv. I am checking with Kim to clarify though and will let you know what she says.

Of course there are loop holes for that. If you are planning on paying cash/chack then you wouldn't have to worry about it until you go register it in Texas.

You will get a tempory tag so that you will stay legal while you are waiting on the paperwork form us.'

I dealt with Bart Gunkel ([email protected]). Super easy to deal with. Gave him a price I was quoted by an out of town dealer and he said no problem, lets get it ordered. No deposit to order either. All done over email.

Ordered from river oaks in Houston and they gave me great deal at friends and family price. They also offer a lifetime warrant for $3000 or so
