It is stated on build sheet as "MOPAR Black Fuel Filler Door"So check this out: I explained to my sales guy that the Rubicon is supposed to include the fuel filler door and he says he is doing everything in his power to resolve the issue. I provided him a chat I had with a Jeep rep where they verified it is a standard item. He is not getting anywhere and is telling me that it could take a while. Today I decided to chat with Jeep again and get this...the rep I am chatting with right now is trying to tell me that it isn't standard. I even provided her a link to a build identical to mine. She couldn't figure out how to see it so I even had to give her the steps to navigate the webpage to see All Standard Features > Exterior Features > Exterior Design. She is still trying to say she can't see it as standard and saying I need to take it up with my dealer. I'm like "Isn't this a mistake in quality control on Jeep's part? How was this able to get delivered to a dealership without something that is clearly listed on Jeep.com as a standard feature?" Sorry for a big rant, hopefully this will help others avoid the mistake I did and make SURE you get what is listed as standard.
Another interesting thing I noticed when my sales guy was showing me two other window stickers and we compared to mine is that on mine and one of the ones he had of a Rubicon with options, the options were listed in the area that the standard exterior features were listed in for the third window sticker. Of the three, the one that actually had the standard exterior features listed, had Black Fuel Filler Door.
It is stated on build sheet as "MOPAR Black Fuel Filler Door"
Go to JEEP.com and print your build sheet out.
I’m happy you found it to be usefulThanks to this thread I pulled out of the dealership with a perfectly and appropriately equipped Rubicon. It wasn’t missing anything, but I am an extremely picky guy (the sales manager mocked this openly as I left a local CO dealership with an insane deal - I’m also a nice guy but turn into a complete jerk when buying a car), and leaving knowing I got everything was a ton of peace of mind. Literally had this list up on my phone as I walked my jeep with my sales guy. Only thing I haven’t found is the aux wiring but I’d probably buy new ones anyway when needed. And did get a fuel filler.
Thank you! I'm pretty amazed how much I love this thing.I’m happy you found it to be useful
Congratulations on your new rig!
This will be more likely ne when I walk in the dealer. Thanks to this thread I pulled out of the dealership with a perfectly and appropriately equipped Rubicon. The first post has been kept up to date. Thanks, I'll be using this today! Is anything missing from the first post?... has it been kept up to date? I can't read through 10 pages.
I got JLU Rubicon with dual premium top.
Update: I did find one thing missing - the hardtop clip in the back that you can attach your washer fluid line and hard top wiring module to. Not on mine. Guess I will be emailing the dealership!
Much appreciated! I’ll ship this to my dealer tomorrow. They also forgot my front plate so good timing. Thank you for sending me this!![]()
As shown in this video if you need proof:
Figured it may be a good idea to isolate a single thread to find information on what should be coming with your new JL, as I’m sure some folks have gotten shafted already and not received all the little extras upon delivery. Not everyone knows that info, so here’s what I have gathered thus far (feel free to chime in and I’ll edit if I’m missing items):
1. Two sets of keys
2. Jeep mini ratchet set/Torx (for hardtop/windshield/doors)
3. Lugnut key (for spare)
4. Freedom top storage bag (if equipped)
5. Carpet floor mats standard (but not if all season mats are equipped)
6. JL Wrangler Owners Manual/Warranty guide (may just be in your Jeep’s infotainment system only). Not 100%, but can be printed if requested directly through Jeep.
7. Jeep hitch receiver rubber insert (if trailer towing group is equipped)
8. Towing Pkg only: small baggie with tubing and splices.
9. Rubicon only: MOPAR Black Fuel Filler Door
10. Cold Weather Group option, you need to be sure you get the removable cord that is part of the block heater kit (and look under your hood for it if not in a separate bag)
11. Rear Cargo cubby rubber mat (on 4 door)
12. Rubber mats inside your center console
13. Velcro straps if you have a sun rider top
Also, ensure you get registered for the “Jeep Wave Program” because your new JL will receive complimentary maintainence for a period of time.
CONFIRMED NOT INCLUDED:
Windshield tie downs
