JL Bikini Tops?

I'm just going to get the Trektop NX and use it like a bikini, leaving the windows off.

With the sunshade it should be a great solution. Haven't decided if I need to remove the sub, but very likely. lol

I've been thinking this exact thing. I like that it ends at the rear roll bar. Kinda think the stock soft top looks fuuny in bikini configuration.

Hopefully someone makes one that will wrap around the soft top door surrounds..or at least the option to. Helps keep rain out when you get caught on the trail with no where to hide!

I agree I'd like to get one for this summer, however I live in florida where weather changes many times throughout the hour lol.

Just search Bikini Tops, no other qualifiers ... more fun.

Seems these days many "Sunshade" sellers are calling theirs a Bikini too. Heck maybe it has always been that way.

I think most want a top that attaches at the window, is wide enough to cover the doors and attaches somewhere in the cargo area to the roll bar. And is solid, this allows most the rain to stay out.

I bought this from Mopar, so close but no cigar ... I mean, fits nice, but doesn't cover the doors and has a zipper on front so rain will definitely get through.

So would the zipper let water into the instrument panel area? I don’t really care about the noise or lack of door coverage, but if it lets water into the dash that kills the whole point.

Hhmmm ya. It was too expensive for too many little things that were not right. I returned it.

Very similar to Mopar solid sun bonnet. Except for panels. Top in vid is way too loose.

The JK is different enough for me to have concerns over a good fit. Some have done some fabrication on other tops but for sure the windshield header will be much different.

I decided I plan to keep the JLUR for a bit, so I’m just going to wait it out.

Hey do you know is there any outlook on jlu full summer top accessories? I know you have the nextop out but I like the old windjammer bakini and deck cover type... I hate rocking the hard top all summer long!!! Any information would be greatly appreciated
