Compiling a list of known 'fits' and 'do not fits' as discovered by members when it concerns porting over JK parts. This mostly just concerns aftermarket parts, but could include other more general parts too.

Please note it is impossible to say that because an item fits, that it is safe to assume all versions of that item fit. For example front bumpers do work, but to say ALL aftermarket front bumpers will bolt right up is unknown. Some bumpers required extra drilling on the JK so might require extra drilling on a JL. While other bumpers like wide bumpers may contact the frame on a JL.....so please use this as general information.

Lift Spacers/Spring Spacers - may or may not fit, there are inconsistencies at this time (REFER TO POST #21)
Front Bumpers - Fit (thanks to @jericbarg)
Rear Bumpers - Do not fit (thanks to @jericbarg)
Rock Rails - Do not fit
Budget boost upper spacers front and rear - fit (thanks to @jericbarg)
Wheels are 5x5 - Fit (note that lug nuts are not compatible)
Lug Nuts - Do not fit (JL is metric 14mm x 1.50, JK is SAE 1/2 - 20) (thanks to @jericbarg)
Doors (to include half and tube doors) - Do not fit (thanks to @TPFilm1994)
Factory Hitch- Fit (thanks to @17FreedomChief)

I will keep updating this as more info is found so we can try to keep it all in one place!

Budget boost upper spacers front and rear from a JK work on JL.
Rear lower coil spacers do not interchange.

I use a method of cross referencing parts in the Mopar Performance Parts catalog. I noticed that wheels listed in the catalog fit both the JK and JL models.
In the Dirt Every Day video with dynatrac, they did confirm that the wheels on the JL are the same 5x5 pattern.

The JK front winch bumper we sell at Artec will not fit on the JL due to differences in a few areas on the bumper in relation to where it sits on the frame and crash bar and interference with the grill also some braces in the bumper interfere also

Wheels are same bolt pattern, BUT lug nuts are now metric 14mm x 1.50 where the JK has SAE 1/2 - 20.

Factory rear hitch mounts the same JK to JL so in someone’s case where they didn’t add the towin package and had one laying around off a JK this would work. Was confirmed by Hauck Off-road on their Facebook video.

Very curious to see if the JL axles will bolt up to a JK, I plan to sell mine and upgrade to 60's and would love to get some good money for the Rubi axles to a JK owner.

TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) Sensors on a JL are the same part # as a 2010-18 JK

What about wheel spacers? I know the threads are different (metric and SAE) but will the work with different lug nuts?
