The icon isn't even supposed to be a Wrangler. It represents the Willys MB, the 1941 heritage, which had no doors at all.

I purposely put a "station wagon" jeep in that corner on my new windshield. Going for accuracy here damnit. Yes, that's an F-16 chasing it down.

I had a 73 Gran Torino Station Wagon in the 80's when I was in high school. I loved it. It had a 351 4 bolt main. It still had less horse power than my Wrangler. While I was in Germany I kept trying to find a reasonably priced BMW wagon to drive while I was stationed there. The Station Wagon analogy doesn't bother me. Even when Mark Allen called it a wagon on a TFL video from the introduction of the new JL's. This is my opinion but I feel like any 4 door SUV is just the modern equivalent for the station wagon. They got replaced in the 90's by all the new SUVs copying the XJ.

Haha, that's just what i was going to type. I have a 2 door and it has a no door Willys MB on the windshield too. It's a nod to Jeep's early heritage, should be on on your shifter too, if you have an auto.

Gentleman— the proper term is StationWrangler even though there were No Doors until 1976 and a StationWillys CJ6 from 1955. ? Oh yeah— and continued with the CJ 8 in 81 although with the full cab for export and Alaska postal only. Softops available for CJ8 Scrambler.

Even us Gladiator people gotta look at that 2 door on the windshield. Now the nice thing is, we do get a nice Gladiator silhouette on our shifter at least.
