You must not have driven I35 between DFW and Austin very often. I made that drive a ton of times when I moved from FTW to Austin. Nothing but Texas plates camping in the left lane the whole way, latte in one hand and a phone in the other.

Up here in CO now, a vast majority of left lane campers have TX plates.

I drive I-10, I-20, I-30, I-35 & I-45 weekly. I regularly drive from DFW/FTW to Houston to Laredo and back to FTW, usually doing that lap twice a week. I am very familiar with these roads.
