Jeep Smash and Grab

Jeep’s rear passenger window got busted into last night (Charlotte NC) and they stole my med kit and air compressor… is it easy to get in the door panel and remove the broken bits of glass? Has anyone had any problems with a company replacing their window?

I had that happen on 4Runner insurance paid for it, Safelite did all the glass removal etc.

It was the wing window with the built in antenna, think it was like 600 bucks. Didn't have a thing in the back to steal either.

Thieves suck. I’m sorry that happened to you.

I’ve had that happen to me a couple times (one time they stole my lunch ) and insurance covered it.

edit to add those break-ins didn‘t happen in my JL. Once was in my Hyundai Excel (that should tell you how long ago that was—what a pos ) and once in my Jeep Liberty).

Sorry to the OP, that sucks.

but your story sounded like my MIL’s. She eats like a bird and her and a friend went bike riding in Little Rock one day. Her window was smashed and the thieves stole her only bag inside.. that happened to be their lunch for the day, one apple and a sandwich. They put their purses in the Ram box on the truck and the thieves didn’t think to check that.
