I noticed your sweet Dakota and thought the same thing. Also thought it was funny they both had “state” names. (Although our Indiana is named for the dog in Indiana Jones. ?)

I wanted to name her Posey or Maddie after two of my favorite baseball players but got outvoted .

A friend of mine has the last name Jones and named her dog Indiana and calls her Indie. Too cute.
