Jeep target market: income
We looked at household income for our next analysis to find out what kind of person drives a Jeep Wrangler. We discovered household income for Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited owners doesn’t change dramatically between the JK/JKU and JL/JLU models.

The average household income for the 2-door Jeep JL is $115,616. The average household income for the 4-door Jeep JLU is a bit higher at $122,673. It is only slightly lower for the older 2007-2018 models. The 2-door Jeep JK is $111,956.

That article was written in 2021. It looks like they've changed some of the text to say 2023, but all relevant images seem to still say 2021.

Yeah, it's challenging to know what's been updated or not.

It's neither surprising nor interesting that the most populated states have the most registered Jeeps. It's a rather Captain Obvious statement. Show me the states with the most registered Jeeps per capita. That will show how popular Jeeps actually are there.

I don't Jeep Wave here in Utah because just going to the grocery store less than a mile away I can encounter up to 20 Jeeps. They're everywhere. That doesn't happen in CA, TX or NY. Yet according to their map UT is in the lower half of states. That can only be due to not accounting for population density and it just ends up telling you nothing.

What states have the most Jeep Wranglers per capita? For 2007-2023 JK, JKU, JL and JLU the states with the most Wranglers per capita are Oklahoma, followed by Michigan, New Hampshire, Wyoming and New Jersey.

The states with the least amount of Wranglers per capita start with Mississippi, followed by California, Washington D.C., Tennessee and Alabama.

Things are as well as they can be. I think you have me mixed up with another Warn Hub turner. Sold the truck over a year ago to get the Jeep. Never been to MOAB, maybe one day, although not likely. Best wishes.

It does make sense, there are a lot of Jeeps in NJ despite few places to take them off road. And 98% of them are stock mall crawlers. Its a strange place.

Me too,, I make less than $40,000 and still was able to get my 2023 2-door and paid it off, Of course I don't eat dinner every day either LOL
