TLDW; Engine failure. stellantis forces mechanics to go through insane hoops just to prove the engine needs replacing. they finally relent and sends them one that appears broken in shipping and has a literal 30 second warranty.

The amount of bullsh*t they had to go through it was obvious early on that the entire goal of a warranty department is to deny warranties and has zero to do with customer satisfaction or reputation of the brand.

I’m by no means justifying their response but let’s face it . You have an independent shop basically saying that they hear a noise so send us a replacement engine. Personally , if I needed an engine replacement under warranty I think I would have stuck with a dealership. Just saying

If you want warranty work you go to a dealership, not a private shop with a guy with a man bun.

An aside on why they went to these guys. Appears like this is a non mopar warranty, obtw the selling dealer tried to sell me on my 24, i declined and have the mopar. Dealer said their warranty you could take anywhere. THIS is why thats a bad idea.

This is sort of like are you going to take your samsung phone to the apple store to get worked on.

Sorry but I would take plastic off look at the 3rd motor on the cracked crate, and probably say good to go.

Bad alternator, sure, let the local guy if warranty allows dig into it.

But my maxcare pretty specific, mopar dealer only.

I point out that the warranty service is a nightmare according to a not unknown youtuber who deals with this stuff and im hit with an account that has my opposite name telling me im wrong.
