Yay, me!
After nearly 4 months of researching, talking with Wrangler owners, waiting patiently for my truck to sell at a fair price for both parties, annoying my wife and of course, going to this site almost daily...I finally ordered my JLU yesterday!
Another shout out to Leon Travis at Criswell in Gaithersburg, MD. As I've stated before; to me, he is the reference standard for automobile sales professionals. As expected, my deal is 8% under invoice plus a $300.00 doc fee. Also, they will collect my state's sales tax and tag fees during the delivery process for a true out the door delivered price.
Once we have a better idea as to when my Wrangler will be delivered to the dealership, I'll book a one way flight to Baltimore, MD. After a test drive, delivery and hopefully connecting with a friend for lunch, my 14 (at least) hour road trip begins which includes seeing our son who lives roughly half way b/w the dealership and home. Additionally, I'll have other stops planned to visit with friends and take in some site seeing along the way.
It's about the journey, right? So, "take the long way home."
Oh, here are my-"I did it my way"-specs:
24S-customer preferred package
V6 Auto
PDN-Sting-Gray Clear Coat
HT1-black 3-piece hard top
WGG-granite wheels and A/T tires
AJ1-safety group
DSA--anti-spin differential rear axle
AAN-technology/7" radio group
ADH--trailer tow package and HD electrical group
A7X9-cloth low back bucket seats black
Best wishes and happy holidays!

I also finally ordered after months and months of researching and my wife asked if I was going to stop being so annoying over my relentless research of Jeeps.
