Been seeing this on eBay for awhile, but not sure if it's actually useful:

I only have a stock rim/tire combo on my tailgate and no rattles, BUT if this helps to prevent sagging over the years and doesn't affect anything else, I could see how it might be OK to install. I typically live by the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality, but just wanted to see what others are/aren't doing with this gadget. Thanks in advance for your feedback and Happy Jeepin'!
