So I was scrolling through the WalMart app yesterday, looking at tires. I came across the Ironman All Country M/T LT 37 12.50 R20 for 105.20 each!! I immediately ordered 4! 4 37 12.50’ for $420.00!! A bit later I had an epiphany that I needed 5 tires so I had one for my spare, I went in to get another and lo and behold they are now $315.00?.
Anyone interested in 37’s may want to take a look on the WalMart app for this deal, it might be active somewhere.

Is that an "F" load rating? Wow, that ought to be stiff!

Yes it’s an F load rating,. I know it’s gonna be a little stiff, but I needed another set of wheels/tires to run in the winter so I don’t ruin the Fuel wheels/Nitto tires. I found a decent set of 5 20x10 rims on FB Marketplace so I should be all set!

I have those on my JTOD in 37x12.50r17

the grip is amazing and they’re not as firm as you’d think. After 26k miles they’re about halfway worn down, but I do keep 36-38 psi in them as I drive 72 miles round trip to work every day and want to maximize mileage. I like the tires but they do get pretty noisy once broken in and one of my tires is now so out of round that it needs replacing. You will also feel every single lug on the tire when coming to a stop. I’ll be switching to a different brand sooner than I wanted to.

Thanks for the info!! They should be perfect to get me through 4/5 months of winter driving.

20s with an F load rating? Yeah, they'll be "a little stiff".

They will do just fine for your winters. Have a tire shop with a brain install them, otherwise you’ll end up with about 5lbs of weights on one side of the tire instead of the guy just rotating the tire to find the light spot. Happened to me the first time around smh

I needed to be at work in an hour and rushed it. I took it back to a reputable shop the next day and they were able to make it right

Thanks for the info! It’s amazing what a difference the right shop makes on something as common as tire mounting and balancing.

20" wheels, and an F rating, should be stiff, and slick in wet weather!

Those tires are pretty good I never had an issue with them. Some people believe if u don’t spend 1500 bucks on tired that they are crap. If u have a budget u can’t go wrong

It all depends on what you're looking for. "Pretty good" is significantly different for someone looking for a set of tires that will last years and years with very little wear versus someone that needs top snow or rain or mud or rock crawling or quiet or comfort or handling characteristics. And, of course, for some people cost is the most important characteristic.

Exactly. Those look like a low-priced tire that will provide very poor wet weather traction. They'll probably wear like iron though. If you needed tires for a few months (4-5 months), specifically for a purpose (wet weather traction), that's the opposite of what I would buy.

You're buying a medium-duty truck tire, one that will have a wear-like-iron body and very little siping. They'd probably be good on a full-size F350 used to haul or tow heavy though.

They actually do better in the rain than most tires I’ve owned. Yeah, I was surprised too.
