So, I thought I'd give some quick opinions of the Ironman 4x4 package deal I got for Black Friday as I haven't seen very many online reviews or You tube videos on the gear for Jeeps and thought there may be some out there looking at Ironman 4x4. So, when looking for armor, I struggled, I couldn't find the right combinations of functionality, price and looks that I liked. I love the AEV bumpers but they don't make slider/steps and they are expensive. Loved the ARB Classic Stubby and Sliders but, whoever designed the rear bumper needs to be slapped real, real, real hard and then fired but are priced reasonably. You get the picture, anyway...hopefully someone will find this info useful. Let's start with the Pro's:

Pro's:

For Starters, great price. I got the Front Stubby Bumper, HD Sliders/Steps and Rear Bumper with the 25% off Black Friday deal and after Taxes and a flat $100 LTL shipping fee I paid right at $2,200. Worth noting, the front bumper comes with a 20" LED Light Bar and the rear bumper comes with 2 LED Lights. Shipping was fast but was delayed 3 days in Dallas because of Thanksgiving. Packaging was very good, no shipping damage at all. These things are solid, nothing looks or feels cheap or low quality. welds are good, coatings and powder coats are all top notch. Fit and finish of the end product all very good and it all looks good, overall, not only do I highly recommend Ironman 4x4, I will absolutely buy their gear again should I need something. Also worth noting, it looks like you get $100 per $1000 in store credit for purchases so I was able to pick up the front two LED floods, wiring harness and 4 Shackles for about $150 (the 25% Off deal worked with that as well).

Con's:

Installation, installation, installation. First, there was not an installation instruction sheet to be found...period, nothing...you have to go to the website and watch their install videos (which are actually very good and thorough) and they include all of the mounting hardware for JK's, JL's and JT's but, they give you one huge bag of bolts and you get to figure out what you need and what you don't instead of individually marked bags. Also, Their tolerances are so tight and exact, it takes a bit of fiddling to get everything lined up and bolted down. Time consuming. Probably not going to go well for the first timer. No Skid plate option, you have to modify the stock one to fit. No fog light option or mounting points for cubes, I had to drill holes to mount the LED's.

Did you install the back sensors on the new rear bumper? Got one for my wife's sport mode. Ironman mounts won't work with the jeep sensor, neither will the mounts from the sports plastic bumper. I'm guessing that the mopar steel bumper mounts will work but I haven't gotten them to try yet.

Just ordered this bumper.. which mounts did you end up needing to install?

I did get the factory mounts from Mopar. Don't remember the part numbers but a search will find them quickly. It's a different number for each one. I haven't installed them yet, life has gotten in the way for the past few months. I will need to ream out the bumper to fit the sensors as the holes on the bumper are too small. Or maybe I'll just leave it the way it is. Other than getting a parking sense error message it doesn't affect anything else. Other than that the bumper is great. Wraps around nicely, hard points bolt directly to the frame and the license plate holder works well. I didn't install a light on it yet. So far it hasn't been a problem, and it's my wife's jeep so she can probably talk her way out of it. :)
