Wait... someone actually still has/uses an iPod?
That’s what I was just thinking. I mean I still have one...buried in a drawer somewhere....I think it still works but haven’t used it in years. Lol

I also am experiencing this issue. ... can't figure it out!! Driving me nuts!
Are you using an iPod nano or older iPod? I was using my iPod Nano and experienced this issue. I switched to a newer iPod (I don't have the latest iPod, but the generation before the newest that is being sold now.) It solved the problem.

I connect mine using USB2 in the center console. Stays plugged in 24-7. I did have one issue and it was when I tried to hit the re-play song button on the steering wheel or on the display it would only take me to the beginning of the song and not the song before. But rebooting the iPod solved that issue too.

Good luck.

simultaineously press and hold the on button at the top and the home button. You'll need to hold these at the same time for a few seconds. your screen will go black and you'll see the  logo. Once you see the  logo you can release the buttons and it will reboot/start.

Good luck

Thanks for your posts on this - I have the same issue with an iPod Classic I'm still using. I'll try the 2-fingered salute/reboot.

By the way, how can I dump the iPod by copying my iTunes err Apple Music to a USB thumb drive that I can leave plugged in the center console?

Thanks in advance
