I have 12.1.2 and it works. Had to log out, close app (swipe up), open and log back in - but now works fine.If you want to continue using the UConnect app on your iPhone for remote start, etc... don't update to iOS 12.1.2. After updating my phone to 12.1.2, remote start no longer worked. UConnect support said since I had updated my iPhone to version 12.1.2 that it broke the functionality of the app preventing remote start, etc from working. Said we need to wait for a new fixed version of the app to hit the store.
Yeah that’s just another excuse that uconnect are giving people! Jeep cares FCA and uconnect have no idea what’s going on! They just want your money! I have 12.12 also and uconnect does not work, but it didn’t work before I downloaded the iPhone update!
Can't say I disagree. I've been using it since it's free (I already paid for it would probably be more accurate). No way I'd pay a monthly fee for it with how many issues it has.
Same here. Updated and it works for my JL and the wife’s, from either of our iPhones on 12.1.2.

I park in a parking garage, I like to start it so it’s warm by the time I get to it leaving work. My wife and daughter appreciate warm seats, cabin, and what not if we’re leaving the gym or dinner. We spend a lot of time outdoors hiking and trail running. It’s nice when you’re approaching a trail head to start it warming up. We are expecting up too 9 inches of snow Saturday so we’ll definitely be in the woods enjoying the snow fall. I’m sure it’ll be nice to get back in a warm vehicle when we’re done playing.
When I leave my office for the day my Jeep isn't within eyesight or range of the fob, so I use it to remote start about 10-15 minutes before I leave when it's cold outside.
