Jeep Wrangler JL Sahara 4xe (2021) and Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara 2.8CRD
Hello from south-west Germany,
we are proud owners of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara 2.8CRD which is a bit modified for offroad ;-) and one year ago we dived into the adventure of buying a 2nd hand Jeep Wrangler JL Sahara 4xe (2021). So far only the well known recalls and no severe trouble yet.
We love both our Wranglers and life is too short to drive "normal" and "reasonable" cars :)

👉👉👉 Wishing all forum members the very best of wheeling, and the great outdoors. The USA is a Great Country - get out there, off the pavement --- and use/enjoy that JEEP that you paid/are paying dearly for!!! (Just Empty EVERY Pocket!!! ;))

Not really NEW here but doing the obligatory hello...
Life's been a long, hard, rewarding and challenging ride - we're now both well-worn, retired, multi-career, MILVETS.

We hail from the storied Southwestern USA. Have seen "the world" in our military days, and the best place is right HERE!!!

[Why posting - Needed to change a spammed-out 35 yo (!) e-mail address on this forum, dating from the dial-up bulletin board days of the 1990's (BEFORE the World Wide Web) --- couldn't change the e-mail account in forum account settings, so had to re-register with the new one...]

Long time Jeep owners... We still have our vintage, built-lifted-locked butterscotch gold 1974 CJ-5 w AMC 304 V-8 w T-18A (granny) on 33's. Our 1st RV-towed Jeep. Wife formerly had a bright white pre-Rubicon 2002 TJ Sahara (bought for Dana 44 in rear) - built it up in two weeks (!) for a Rubicon Trail run early that year - lifted, locked on 33's – BTW we saw several Rubicon prototypes on that namesake trail, during our run… CJ-5 in-action photo below. TJ photo below on the Rubicon Big Sluice...

16 years later, sold the built 2002 TJ, and wife finally got her 1st Rubicon - a bright white 2017 JKU Rubicon Recon edition - lifted, running 35's (max allowed for MOPAR Lifetime Warranty) as an anniversary gift (we're patient souls) - an end of the old-school JKU Dana 44 Rubicon Jeeps. Now Rubicon JL’s and JT’s have “Dana 44’s” but the Advantek version (M210 in front, M220 in rear axles). JKURR photo below.

And wife also has a wild "Tuscadero" color 2024 Gladiator JT RubiconX running 35's, another anniversary present. Spoiled?!?! (Yes!) Re. the color - we had a Ford 75th anniversary ‘92 F-150 Step-side truck, for many years, in basically the same wild color - Ford called it “Iris” back in 1992 - see Ford promo post card below.

Our Jeeps have military aircraft door graphics as a fun nod to past Naval Aviation days. All Jeeps are/were set up w/ beefy old-school USA-made NSA 12K rated tow bar/surge-brake systems, for flat-towing behind RVs the diesel dually.

Thank you for asking! We are just fine. We just got hit with another storm about an hour ago. I'm thinking that we have had about 4" of rain so far, in the last two days. We have resided here in the valley, for 51 years, but have never seen anything like this. We are in a severe drought, so this is welcomed.

" We have resided here in the valley, for 51 years, but have never seen anything like this. "

Wow! That says A LOT. 👆👆👆

The western states have been in a prolonged drought (many decades) so YES, we do need the rain...
